If you succeed in erasing all enemy missiles in a wave, and the computer's DEFCON rating hasn't gotten too low, try to crack the computer's code. If you succeed, you can disable one of the missile bases controlled by the computer. Disable all the bases and peace will be preserved, at least until the computer acts up again.
