Like AtariSoft's Donkey Kong and Jungle Hunt, Moon Patrol is a pleasant surprise on the VIC-20. Unfortunately a few nagging problems keep Moon Patrol from being as great as those other ports. The game music often distracts by falling out of sync with itself, and frequent slow-downs make it difficult to navigate some parts of the terrain. Still, it's a decent port, if perhaps not as enjoyable as the Apple II release.
