Arcade Xevious Review

With vivid, eye-catching graphics, typically catchy Namco music, and most importantly, plenty of things to shoot at, the original version of Xevious rightfully earned its place as one of Japan's most popular video games ever. The game's performance wasn't too shabby elsewhere in the world, either. In the United States, it holds the distinction of being the first arcade game to get its own TV commercial.
